The annual budget survey of local council social services in England conducted by the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS).

Care Market Report. NAO. 2021
This report from the National Audit Office (NAO) examines the current care market and DHSC’s role in overseeing the market now and in the future, with the aim of offering insights and recommendations ahead of future social care reforms.

Social Care 360. Kings Fund. 2021 
This report uses the latest available data (2019/20) to describe the key trends in adult social care.

Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework (ASCOF). NHS Digital. 2020
This measures how well care and support services achieve the outcomes that matter most to people.
